The Bridal Stylist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the sales process for bridal, bridesmaids, and MOB/G appointments, and contributing to the overall success of La Mariée through collaboration in marketing, sales, and operations. This role involves a variety of tasks, from sales and merchandising to assisting with events and operational responsibilities. The Bridal Stylist will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and a keen understanding of bridal trends and products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
Manage the sales process for bridal, bridesmaid, and MOB/G appointments, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for each client.
Successfully sell bridal gowns, bridal accessories, and other products, meeting assigned sales goals.
Provide excellent customer service to all clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Thoroughly understand and be able to educate potential customers about the store's products and services.
Collaboration & Marketing
Collaborate with team members on various marketing initiatives, sales strategies, and operations to help improve La Mariée.
Contribute to content creation and marketing ideas, supporting promotional efforts both in-store and online.
Participate in marketing and sales events to promote the store and drive business.
Visual Merchandising & Store Maintenance
Maintain strong visual merchandising in the store, ensuring that displays are attractive and consistent with the brand image.
Set up for trunk shows, sample sales and other events, and reset the store after major events.
Assist with day-to-day store operations, including organizing and cleaning the boutique.
Networking & Relationship Building
Network and build relationships with potential customers, vendor partners, and other important contacts in the bridal industry.
Stay up-to-date on bridal trends and make recommendations to the leadership team on product selection, merchandising, and store offerings.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with styled shoots, day-of wedding services, loaner requests, and other special tasks as needed.
Assist with operational tasks such as placing purchase orders, receiving orders, and booking appointments with brides for all appointment types, including but not limited to pick-ups or unveilings.
Perform various other duties as assigned by leadership, including stocking the boutique with snacks and beverages, creating and distributing flyers for marketing purposes, planning events and photoshoots, washing and folding towels, and ensuring the boutique is well-organized and clean.
Alcohol Service
Serve customers alcohol when required, ensuring compliance with all legal and store-specific guidelines.
Competencies & Skills
Proficiency with computers and the ability to effectively use CRM systems, internet, and websites.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
Working knowledge of Excel.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and navigate various roles within a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiasm for being on camera, sometimes in a wedding dress, for promotional or marketing purposes.
Strong work ethic and a genuine desire to learn.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to adapt and problem-solve as needed.
Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
Ethical conduct and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Additional Requirements
Must be comfortable serving alcohol in accordance with store policies and local regulations.
Physical Demands
This position will include but is not limited to the following physical demands:
The person in this position needs to constantly move about inside the boutique to access inventory items, service items, perform tasks, etc.
Regularly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator and computer printer.
Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 25 pounds across the boutique for various needs.
Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, expected to work approximately 10 to 20 hours a week, primarily on weekends. Days and hours of work are to be determined no later than one week in advance. On-call hours for weekends will be established one week in advance when possible; however, due to demands of the business there may be less notice. Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Travel
Some travel is expected for this position, based upon boutique demands, not expected to exceed 15%.
Education and Experience
