The Vault

Thank you for considering La Mariée as the next home for your vintage couture bridal piece.

We understand that items from a wedding day often carry deep sentimental value. They represent a moment, a memory, and a piece of personal history.

Our team approaches every submission with a curator’s eye and a deep appreciation for the artistry behind historic bridal fashion. With expertise in bridal textiles, couture construction, and archival garment care, we carefully evaluate each piece to determine whether it is a strong fit for our vintage collection. Because our archive is intentionally selective, we focus exclusively on vintage couture bridal pieces - including gowns, veils, headpieces, gloves, bags, and other accessories that reflect exceptional craftsmanship and enduring design. These pieces represent a time when garments were created with extraordinary attention to detail and are meant to be preserved and appreciated for years to come.

If accepted, your piece will become part of a thoughtfully curated collection - The Vault - presented to brides who value the rarity, artistry, and story behind vintage couture.

Every item entrusted to us is handled with the utmost care and respect, honoring both its craftsmanship and the memories it carries.

What We Accept

At La Mariée, our vintage collection is intentionally curated to celebrate the artistry and craftsmanship of couture bridal fashion. Each piece we accept reflects a standard of design heritage, construction, and timeless beauty that aligns with the experience we offer our brides.

We review vintage couture bridal pieces produced between approximately 1950 and 2002 that remain in excellent condition and reflect exceptional quality.

Pieces we are delighted to review include:

Couture vintage wedding gowns from designers such as Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Monique Lhuillier, Oscar de la Renta, and similar couture houses
Catherine Rayner wedding dresses
Couture eveningwear from designers such as Christian Dior, Valentino, Givenchy, Nina Ricci Haute Couture, Lanvin, Jacques Heim, Loris Azzaro, Vivienne Westwood, and other heritage fashion houses
Vintage couture bridal accessories, including veils, headpieces, gloves, and heirloom bridal details

Because each item becomes part of a carefully considered collection, all submissions are reviewed individually by our team.

What We Do Not Accept

To preserve the integrity of the La Mariée vintage archive, there are certain pieces we are unable to accept.

We are not able to review:

Unlabeled garments, as verified designer attribution is essential to our collection
Contemporary or mass-market bridal brands, including Mori Lee, Demetrios, Bianchi, Priscilla of Boston, Jasmine, Allure, Alfred Angelo, Mary’s, Maggie Sottero, Michelangelo, Casablanca, Moonlight, Eve of Milady, and David’s Bridal

While these pieces fall outside the focus of our archive, the resale market for bridal gowns remains strong. Many vintage bridal boutiques specialize in these designers, and resale platforms such as Stillwhite or Poshmark may also be helpful options.

We are grateful that you considered La Mariée as a potential next home for your piece.
